    RM55 Description

    Core Purpose

    RM55 is an industrial 5G router designed to keep devices connected in environments where reliability is critical. It combines dual cellular modules with multiple backup options to maintain continuous network access. This makes it suitable for operations where downtime is not acceptable.

    Connectivity and Communication

    The device uses dual 5G RedCap modules to provide stable and flexible connectivity, with support for load balancing and automatic failover. If one connection drops, the router can switch to another cellular link, or even fall back to Ethernet or Wi-Fi. With up to four SIM cards, it also allows switching between operators to maintain service availability.

    Monitoring and Management

    RM55 includes built-in tools for monitoring connection status and maintaining uptime. It can automatically detect connection issues and trigger recovery actions like rebooting or switching networks. Remote diagnostics and flexible configuration options make it easier to manage devices deployed in different locations.
