EM320-TH Description
Core Purpose
The EM320-TH is a compact LoRaWAN® temperature and humidity sensor designed for reliable environmental monitoring. It collects accurate data in both indoor and outdoor spaces, including harsh and moisture-heavy environments. With EN12830 certification, it is suitable for cold chain applications where temperature compliance is critical, such as food and pharmaceutical storage.
Connectivity and Communication
The device uses LoRaWAN® Class A communication for long-range, low-power data transmission. In rural areas, it can transmit data over long distances, making it suitable for distributed monitoring points. It supports local storage of up to 3,000 records and can retransmit stored data to prevent loss. NFC configuration allows quick setup using a mobile app, simplifying deployment and maintenance.
Monitoring Capabilities
The EM320-TH uses a Sensirion high-precision sensor to detect subtle changes in temperature and humidity. It measures temperatures from –30°C to +60°C with up to ±0.2°C accuracy in common operating ranges. Humidity measurement covers 0% to 100% RH with typical ±2% accuracy at 25°C. Threshold alarms can be configured to trigger alerts when environmental conditions exceed defined limits.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The sensor is powered by two 2700 mAh replaceable batteries, providing long operating life. Under typical conditions (10-minute reporting interval at 25°C), battery life can reach up to 10 years. Its IP67-rated enclosure protects against dust and water, making it suitable for demanding environments. The housing is made from food-grade PC + ABS material, allowing safe contact with food or medical products. The device operates in temperatures from –30°C to +60°C and supports up to 95% relative humidity.
Installation and Physical Design
The EM320-TH features a compact 85 × 58 × 18 mm form factor, allowing flexible placement in tight spaces. Two installation versions are available: wall/pole mounting and magnetic adsorption. The back cover includes anti-theft and anti-slip design elements to support stable installation in different environments.
