F-G300 Description
Core Purpose
The F-G300 is a 5G smart light pole gateway designed to connect and manage multiple smart city devices through public 4G/5G networks. It acts as the central communication hub inside intelligent light poles.
By combining wireless connectivity, wired interfaces, and power output control in one device, it enables remote management and data transmission for urban infrastructure.
Connectivity and Communication
The gateway supports 5G NR and LTE networks, allowing high-speed wireless data transmission over public cellular infrastructure. Dual SIM support increases network reliability by allowing flexible carrier use.
In addition to cellular communication, it provides wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity (2.4GHz and 5.8GHz), enabling both local access and device networking inside the pole.
It supports VPN protocols such as IPsec and OpenVPN, allowing secure communication between field equipment and central platforms. Remote management is supported through WEB and CLI interfaces, with firmware upgrades available locally or remotely.
Network Stability and Protection
The device includes automatic failover between 4G and wired WAN (optional), helping maintain continuous connectivity. A watchdog mechanism (WDT) and built-in anti-drop system ensure the gateway stays online during network instability.
Multiple protection layers are built into the hardware, including 1.5KV electromagnetic isolation for Ethernet ports, 15KV ESD protection for SIM and serial interfaces, and over-voltage protection for power inputs. These protections help maintain stable operation in outdoor electrical environments.
Power and Output Control
The F-G300 provides AC input (85–264V) and supports multiple AC and DC outputs. Three AC outputs (up to 10A each) allow remote switching and power monitoring of connected equipment such as lighting or media devices.
It also includes 12V and 24V DC outputs with remote switch control and current detection. This makes it suitable for directly powering and managing pole-mounted devices without additional controllers.
Expansion and I/O Support
The gateway supports 7 Gigabit LAN ports, including 4 PoE+ ports (up to 30W per channel), enabling direct connection of IP cameras or other PoE devices.
It includes 4 RS232/RS485 serial ports for industrial equipment integration, 2 SFP fiber slots for optical networking, digital inputs (DI), digital outputs (DO), relay outputs, and 4–20mA analog inputs.
A built-in GPS module allows location-based applications where required.
Environmental Suitability
Housed in a metal casing with IP30 protection, the unit is designed for structured installation inside smart poles or cabinets.
It operates in temperatures from –35°C to +75°C and supports up to 95% humidity (non-condensing), making it suitable for diverse outdoor deployment conditions.
