F-NVR110 Description
Core Purpose
The F-NVR110 is a network video recorder designed for intelligent IoT surveillance environments. It collects video streams from IP cameras, records them locally, and enables remote monitoring through wired or wireless network connections. The device is built to support distributed monitoring deployments where cameras and sensors may be located far from central infrastructure.
By combining video recording with IoT data integration, the device can collect both images and operational information from connected equipment. This allows operators to monitor physical environments, assets, and systems from a single platform.
Connectivity and Communication
The recorder supports flexible networking to connect surveillance systems in different environments. It can operate through standard Ethernet networks, wireless connectivity, or cellular networks such as 5G and 4G, enabling video transmission even in locations without fixed broadband.
Wireless communication allows cameras and monitoring points to send video and data to the recorder with low latency. Built-in support for IoT communication protocols such as MQTT and Modbus RTU enables integration with sensors, automation systems, and industrial equipment. This allows the device to monitor both video and operational data within the same system.
Video Recording and Processing
The F-NVR110 supports multiple IP cameras simultaneously, allowing centralized recording and monitoring of surveillance footage. The system accepts 8 channels of HD IP video input, making it suitable for small and medium surveillance deployments.
Video streams can be decoded using H.265 or H.264, which helps reduce storage usage and bandwidth requirements while maintaining video quality. Recorded footage can be viewed locally through an HDMI output supporting up to 4K resolution, enabling operators to monitor multiple cameras from a single display. The recorder also supports event triggers from cameras to capture images or initiate recording automatically.
Storage
Local storage is designed to support long-term video recording. The device provides space for two 2.5-inch SATA drives, allowing surveillance footage to be stored directly inside the recorder.
Each drive can support up to 4TB capacity, providing significant storage for continuous or event-based recording. A MicroSD slot supporting up to 512GB offers an additional storage option for smaller deployments or backup recording.
Expansion and I/O Integration
The recorder includes multiple interfaces that allow integration with cameras, sensors, and external equipment. It provides eight PoE Ethernet ports, enabling IP cameras to receive both network connectivity and power through a single cable.
Additional connectivity options such as RS232 and RS485 serial ports allow the system to communicate with industrial devices and automation equipment. Digital inputs, digital outputs, relay interfaces, and analog inputs enable the recorder to monitor external sensors and trigger alarms or automated responses when events occur.
Optional modules add further capabilities. The device can include GPS/Beidou positioning, allowing location tracking, and Wi-Fi connectivity for local wireless networking. These features support mobile or remote deployments where location awareness and wireless connectivity are important.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The F-NVR110 is designed for industrial environments where reliability is important. It uses a metal enclosure with IP30 protection, helping shield internal components from dust and physical damage.
The system operates in a wide temperature range of –35 °C to +75 °C, allowing installation in outdoor cabinets, vehicles, or harsh industrial environments. Protective features such as electromagnetic isolation on Ethernet interfaces, power protection mechanisms, and watchdog monitoring help maintain stable operation during long-term deployments.
