F4932-R2H-YK Description
Core Purpose
The F4932-R2H-YK industrial computer is designed to provide reliable computing and network connectivity for industrial environments. It combines a powerful embedded processor with cellular communication, allowing equipment to connect to cloud platforms or remote management systems.
At the center of the device is the Rockchip RK3399 processor running at 1.8 GHz, which provides enough processing power for industrial applications, multimedia tasks, and custom software. The system runs Android 7.1 or Debian 9, allowing developers to build and deploy applications directly on the device.
Because the platform supports application development, it can act as a local processing unit for industrial systems, handling device control, data collection, and network communication from a single compact computer.
Connectivity and Communication
The device supports multiple communication methods, enabling reliable network access in many deployment environments.
It includes 5G NR and LTE cellular connectivity, allowing systems to communicate over mobile networks when wired infrastructure is unavailable. This capability is useful for remote machines, distributed systems, and field deployments where traditional networking is difficult.
For local connectivity, the device also provides Ethernet interfaces and Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n). These options allow the industrial computer to connect to local networks, sensors, or control systems while maintaining uplink communication through cellular networks.
This combination of wired, wireless, and cellular connectivity makes the device suitable for both fixed installations and distributed industrial deployments.
Computing and Multimedia Capability
The RK3399 processor supports 1080p video decoding and 3D acceleration, enabling the device to handle graphical interfaces, video content, or digital displays. This capability is particularly useful in applications such as vending machines, kiosks, or industrial control panels.
The device also supports HDMI display output, allowing connection to external screens or touch displays. This enables operators to interact directly with the system through graphical user interfaces.
With 2 GB DDR3 memory and 16 GB eMMC storage, the platform can run applications, manage device communication, and process operational data locally without requiring an external computing system.
Expansion and Interface Support
The industrial computer provides several interfaces that allow it to integrate with industrial equipment and peripherals.
It includes USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, which can connect cameras, storage devices, sensors, or other external hardware. Serial communication is also supported through RS232 and RS485 interfaces, allowing the device to connect with industrial controllers, meters, and legacy equipment.
The device also includes SIM and TF card slots, enabling cellular connectivity and optional local storage expansion. A 3.5 mm audio interface and HDMI display output support multimedia applications and interactive terminals.
These expansion interfaces allow the system to function as a central control point that connects sensors, industrial devices, and cloud services.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The device is built for industrial environments and supports a wide DC 9–24 V power input, allowing it to operate in many industrial power systems.
The enclosure uses a metal housing with shockproof design, helping protect internal components from vibration or mechanical stress often found in industrial installations.
It operates within a temperature range of –20 °C to +60 °C, allowing deployment in both indoor and outdoor equipment environments.
Additional protections, such as 1.5 kV electromagnetic isolation on Ethernet and 15 kV ESD protection on interfaces, help maintain system stability and protect the device from electrical disturbances commonly found in industrial networks.
