FNB600 Description
Core Purpose
The FNB600 is a 5G Outdoor Unit designed to convert cellular network connectivity into wired Ethernet access. It enables Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) deployment where traditional wired broadband is not available. By supporting both 5G NR (SA & NSA) and LTE networks, it provides flexible connectivity options depending on network availability. This allows service providers and enterprises to deploy broadband quickly without laying fiber.
Connectivity and Communication
The device supports 5G Sub-6 and LTE networks, with theoretical download speeds up to 4.67 Gbps (SA mode). This enables high-throughput internet access suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications. A 2.5G Ethernet port allows high-speed wired distribution to routers, switches, or internal networks. Dual Nano-SIM support (1 main, 1 backup) provides automatic network redundancy to help maintain service continuity. It also supports routing features such as bridge mode, firewall, QoS, TR069 remote management, DDNS, traffic statistics, frequency locking, and community locking. These tools help operators manage deployments and control traffic behavior remotely.
Wi-Fi Configuration
The device includes 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) for configuration purposes. This allows technicians to set up and manage the unit locally during installation without requiring a wired connection.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The unit supports PoE (802.3af) and 12V / 1.5A DC power input. This flexibility allows installation in locations where only PoE infrastructure or direct DC supply is available. It operates in temperatures from –20°C to +60°C and supports up to 95% non-condensing humidity. With an IP68 protection rating, it is designed for outdoor environments exposed to dust and water. The compact dimensions (150 × 100 × 240 mm) and weight under 1 kg allow flexible mounting options including wall and hoop installations.
