F-R200 Description
Core Purpose
The F-R200 is a 4G industrial router designed to provide stable remote connectivity for industrial systems. It connects field equipment to central platforms through cellular, wired WAN, or Wi-Fi networks. It is built for SCADA systems, distribution management, metering, and other infrastructure applications where devices must stay online continuously. Features such as watchdog protection and link backup help maintain uninterrupted communication.
Connectivity and Communication
The router supports LTE connectivity with speeds up to 100 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink. It also supports legacy 3G and 2G networks, allowing deployment in areas with mixed coverage. Multiple WAN access methods are supported, including Static IP, DHCP, and PPPoE. An optional dual-link backup function allows automatic switching between cellular and wired WAN connections. VPN client and server modes (PPTP/L2TP/IPSEC) are available in the VPN version, enabling secure encrypted communication between remote sites and central servers. Remote management is supported via HTTPS, SSH, SNMP, and SYSLOG. Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac allows local wireless access for devices or maintenance personnel. The router can operate in AP, Client, or Bridge mode depending on network requirements.
Monitoring and Control
The device includes traffic statistics and real-time data rate monitoring. This allows operators to track bandwidth usage and connection status remotely. It supports VLAN configuration, firewall, NAT, DMZ, QoS, and ACL functions to control and manage data flow. These capabilities help isolate network segments and protect connected systems. Configuration can be performed locally or remotely through Web interface or CLI, allowing flexible deployment and maintenance.
Expansion and I/O Support
The router provides 1 × RS232 (RS422/RS485 optional) serial interface with baud rates from 2400 to 115200 bits/s. This enables integration with PLCs, meters, and industrial controllers. It includes 2 digital inputs, 1 digital output, and 1 relay interface. The relay supports 1A 250V AC / 30V DC load, allowing basic remote control of external equipment. Two 10/100/1000M LAN ports and one 10/100/1000M WAN port provide Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Built-in 1.5KV electromagnetic isolation enhances interface protection. Optional GPS supports 50 channels with 2.5m positioning accuracy and 5Hz update rate, enabling location tracking in mobile or distributed deployments.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The router operates on DC 5–36V, with standard input of 12V/1.5A. Power consumption is below 700mA at 12V. It uses an IP30 metal enclosure designed for DIN-rail mounting. The operating temperature range is −35°C to +75°C, making it suitable for industrial cabinets and harsh environments. Built-in 15KV ESD protection on SIM interface and 1.5KV isolation on Ethernet enhance reliability in electrically noisy environments.
