F-SC921 Description
Core Purpose
The F-SC921 is designed for industrial IoT video surveillance in locations where wired connectivity is limited or unavailable. It combines wireless cellular communication with a built-in battery system to support long-term, remote monitoring. The device is built for outdoor and industrial environments that require stable, independent operation.
With support for 1920×1080 video resolution and H.265 compression, it delivers clear HD video while reducing bandwidth and storage use.
Connectivity and Communication
The camera uses integrated 4G or optional 5G connectivity to transmit video over long distances without fixed network infrastructure. The 5G version supports data rates up to 3.4Gbps downlink, enabling high-quality real-time video transmission.
It also includes a 10/100M RJ45 Ethernet port with PoE (802.3at) support for wired deployments. Remote management is available through HTTPS, SSH, SNMP, and SYSLOG, allowing administrators to configure, monitor, and upgrade devices from centralized systems.
Video and Monitoring Capabilities
Equipped with a SONY CMOS sensor and a 2.8mm fixed lens, the camera provides a wide field of view (H123°). It supports triple video streams at up to 30fps, allowing simultaneous live viewing, recording, and remote access.
Advanced image functions such as motion detection, privacy masking, backlight compensation, 2D/3D noise reduction, and Super WDR (up to 140dB) help maintain image clarity in complex lighting conditions.
Optional video analytics features include line crossing, region entry/exit detection, loitering detection, and people counting, expanding its use in intelligent monitoring scenarios.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The built-in ternary lithium battery has a rated capacity of 7.8Ah and 11.1V nominal voltage, supporting independent operation in remote areas. Solar panel charging is available in selected models for extended standby monitoring.
The camera operates in temperatures from –35°C to 75°C and carries an IP67 protection rating with IK09 impact resistance. Power consumption remains below 6W in 4G night mode, helping optimize energy use in battery-based deployments.
Expansion and Industrial Integration
For industrial integration, the device includes 2×RS232 and 2×RS485 ports, along with 2 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs plus relay interfaces. This allows connection to sensors, controllers, and external alarm systems.
It supports Modbus RTU, MQTT, and ONVIF Profile S, enabling interoperability with industrial platforms and video management systems. An internal microSD slot supports up to 512GB local storage for on-device recording.
