F3X26-TB Description
Core Purpose
The F3X26-TB is a 4G industrial router designed to provide long-distance wireless data transmission over public cellular networks. It connects remote equipment, field devices, and control systems to central platforms using LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, and GPRS networks. It is built for industrial environments where stable communication and continuous operation are essential. The device automatically enters transmission mode after power-on, enabling fast deployment in unattended locations.
Connectivity and Communication
The router supports LTE FDD with download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps, allowing efficient data transfer for monitoring and control systems. It also supports LTE TDD and legacy cellular technologies, ensuring compatibility across different regions and network conditions. For network reliability, the dual-SIM version enables intelligent link switching. An optional wired WAN backup provides additional redundancy, helping maintain connectivity if the cellular link fails. The device supports remote management through WEB or CLI, along with protocols such as SNMP, SYSLOG, SSH, and HTTPS. This allows centralized monitoring, configuration, and firmware upgrades without physical access.
Wireless Networking
The integrated Wi-Fi module supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n with speeds up to 144 Mbps. It can operate in AP, AP Client, or Bridge mode (optional), enabling flexible local networking. Wi-Fi security includes WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryption, supporting secure wireless access within industrial sites or equipment cabinets.
Serial and Ethernet Integration
The router includes 1 × 10/100M WAN port and 1 × 10/100M LAN port with built-in 15KV ESD protection. These ports allow connection to PLCs, IPCs, cameras, and other Ethernet-enabled devices. It also provides 3 × RS232 and 1 × RS485 serial interfaces. This allows integration with legacy industrial equipment, meters, and controllers that still rely on serial communication.
Security and Stability
To maintain continuous operation, the router includes watchdog (WDT) protection and multiple built-in stability mechanisms. These features help automatically recover the system in case of unexpected errors. Security functions include SPI firewall, VPN traversal, access control, and URL filtering. These tools help protect industrial networks from unauthorized access. Built-in 15KV ESD protection on serial ports, SIM slot, and Ethernet interfaces improves durability in electrically noisy environments.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The router operates on DC 12V/1.5A and supports a wide DC 5–36V input range. This flexibility allows installation in vehicles, control cabinets, and industrial power systems. Power consumption ranges from 95–135mA in standby to 165–220mA during communication at 12VDC, making it suitable for energy-sensitive deployments. It uses a metal housing with IP30 protection and operates in temperatures from –35°C to +75°C. The compact size of 126 × 89 × 30 mm and weight of 320 g allow installation in space-limited control panels.
