F3X26Q Description
Core Purpose
The F3X26Q is a compact 4G industrial router designed to provide stable wireless connectivity for remote and industrial environments. It connects field devices to central systems using public cellular networks such as 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE. With support for FDD-LTE (up to 150 Mbps downlink) and fallback to legacy networks, it ensures continuous data transmission even when network conditions change. This makes it suitable for long-distance and unmanned deployments.
Connectivity and Communication
The router supports 4G LTE with automatic fallback to 3G and 2G networks. This allows the device to maintain communication in areas where LTE coverage may fluctuate. An optional dual SIM function enables intelligent switching between primary and backup cards. This helps reduce downtime by automatically selecting an available network. It supports common WAN connection types such as static IP, DHCP, and PPPoE. For secure remote access, it includes HTTPS, SSH, SNMP, and firewall protection features. Built-in Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n, up to 144 Mbps) allows local wireless device access. It can operate in multiple Wi-Fi modes including AP and client mode, enabling flexible on-site networking.
Expansion and Interface Support
The router includes 1 × 10/100M WAN port and 1 × 10/100M LAN port for wired connectivity. These ports include built-in 15KV ESD protection for improved reliability in industrial environments. A single RS232/RS485 serial interface supports data rates from 2400 to 115200 bps. This allows integration with industrial controllers, meters, and legacy serial equipment. The device uses SMA antenna interfaces for both cellular and Wi-Fi connections, ensuring stable signal transmission. A reset button allows quick restoration to factory settings when needed.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The router operates on DC 12V input and supports a wide voltage range of 5–36V. This flexibility allows deployment in various industrial power systems. It consumes 95–135mA in standby mode and 165–220mA during communication at 12V DC. This helps maintain efficient power usage in always-on applications. The metal housing with IP30 protection supports use in controlled industrial environments. It operates reliably between –35°C and +75°C and tolerates up to 95% non-condensing humidity. With compact dimensions of 93 × 89 × 24 mm and a weight of 250g, it is suitable for cabinet and equipment-level installation.
