Core Purpose
The FNR410-00W6 is a 5G industrial router designed to provide long-distance wireless data transmission over public 4G and 5G networks. It connects field equipment, serial devices, Ethernet devices, and Wi-Fi clients into one unified communication system. It operates as an intelligent data terminal, entering transmission mode automatically after power-on. This allows remote sites to come online without manual intervention.
Connectivity and Communication
The router supports 5G NR with theoretical speeds up to 3.4 Gbps downlink and 350 Mbps uplink. It also supports LTE Cat 20 and fallback networks, helping maintain connectivity across different coverage areas. Dual SIM slots (2 × standard SIM, eSIM compatible) allow network redundancy. The device supports 4G/5G and wired WAN dual-link failover, enabling automatic switching if one connection becomes unavailable. Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz) enables local high-speed wireless access. The 2×2 MIMO design supports up to 1.2 Gbps on 5.8 GHz, making it suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications inside industrial sites. Secure communication is supported through VPN protocols including IPSEC and OpenVPN. Firewall features such as SPI firewall, NAT, and access control help protect connected systems.
Networking and Device Management
Three Gigabit Ethernet ports provide flexible wired connectivity. Port 1 supports PoE+ power reception and can be configured as WAN or LAN, simplifying deployment scenarios. Remote management is supported via HTTPS, SNMP, SSH, TELNET, and SYSLOG. Integration with Four-Faith Cloud enables centralized monitoring and maintenance. The router includes watchdog protection and an anti-drop mechanism to ensure continuous online operation. Network port status detection and latency reporting help monitor link health in real time.
Serial Integration and Industrial Interfaces
The device includes 1 RS232 port and 1 RS485 port through an aviation connector. These interfaces support 15KV ESD protection and isolation, enabling stable connection to PLCs, meters, and industrial controllers. Built-in 1.5KV electromagnetic isolation protection for Ethernet interfaces enhances reliability in electrically noisy environments.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The router supports a wide DC 9–36V input range, with standard operation at 12V/1.5A and operating current below 1.1A. Its metal enclosure is rated IP66, protecting against dust and strong water jets. The device operates in temperatures from –35°C to +75°C and supports 100% humidity (non-condensing).
