GL33CG Description
Core Purpose
The GL33CG is designed to protect valuable goods during transportation. It is built in a box-style enclosure that can be hidden inside cartons or packages, making it difficult to detect. This helps companies track shipments and recover stolen cargo if it is diverted during transit.
Connectivity
The device uses LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback to maintain reliable communication across different network environments. Location data and alerts are sent to a server so logistics teams can monitor shipments remotely. This ensures that tracking continues even in areas where newer networks may not be available.
Tracking and Recovery
The tracker combines GPS and LBS positioning to determine the device location. GPS provides accurate outdoor positioning, while LBS helps estimate location when satellite signals are weak. In addition, RF433 (433–434 MHz) allows recovery teams to detect the tracker using a dedicated detector device when searching for stolen cargo.
Monitoring and Alerts
The device includes motion detection and geo-fence alerts to detect unexpected movement or route changes. If the tracker leaves a predefined area or starts moving unexpectedly, the system can trigger an alarm report. Built-in jamming detection also warns when signals are intentionally blocked.
Environmental Monitoring
A temperature monitoring function helps track the conditions of transported goods. This is useful for shipments that must stay within a certain temperature range. Alerts can be generated if conditions move outside acceptable limits.
Power
The tracker uses a 4000 mAh rechargeable Li-Polymer battery designed for long operating time. Low-power operation and scheduled reporting help extend battery life during long transport routes.
