GV50CEU Description
Core Purpose
The GV50CEU is a compact, entry-level LTE Cat 1 GNSS tracker designed for large-scale vehicle tracking deployments. It provides essential tracking, safety, and theft-prevention functions in a very small form factor. The device is ideal for applications that require discreet installation and reliable connectivity.
Connectivity and Communication
The tracker operates on LTE Cat 1 networks with 2G fallback to ensure coverage across Europe. This allows continued data transmission in areas where LTE coverage is limited. OTA control supports remote configuration, firmware updates, and ongoing device management.
Positioning and Tracking
The GV50CEU uses a multi-constellation GNSS receiver supporting GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, and GLONASS. This improves positioning reliability across different environments. Geo-fences support alerts when vehicles enter or exit defined areas.
Monitoring and Safety Functions
The device supports motion detection, tow alarms, speed alarms, and crash detection with accident reconstruction data. Driving behavior monitoring captures events such as harsh braking and acceleration. Jamming detection alerts operators to possible signal interference.
Power and Environmental Suitability
A wide 9–90V DC input allows use across conventional vehicles and electric mobility platforms. The internal backup battery supports reporting during temporary power loss. The device operates reliably across wide temperature ranges.
Expansion and I/O Support
The GV50CEU includes a digital input, a configurable input, and a latched digital output. BLE 5.2 enables wireless accessory support. Internal antennas simplify installation and reduce wiring complexity.
