GV56 Description

The GV56 is a cost-effective GNSS tracker designed for light vehicle tracking applications. It provides essential tracking, monitoring, and safety functions in a compact form factor. The device is well suited for large-scale deployments where simplicity and reliability are required.
Connectivity and Communication
The tracker operates on GSM/GPRS networks, enabling worldwide deployment where 2G coverage is available. OTA control allows remote configuration and ongoing device management. Bluetooth support enables wireless accessories and driver identification.
Positioning and Tracking
An MTK GNSS receiver provides reliable vehicle positioning with autonomous accuracy under 2.5 meters. Location data supports real-time tracking, route history, and geo-fence alerts. These features help operators maintain visibility and control of vehicles.
Monitoring and Safety Functions
The GV56 supports ignition detection, motion detection, tow alarms, and emergency alarms. Driving behavior monitoring and crash detection help identify unsafe driving and record accident events. External power monitoring provides visibility into vehicle power status.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The device operates on a standard 8–32V DC vehicle power supply and includes an internal backup battery. It supports operation across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for different vehicle environments. Its compact size supports discreet installation.
Expansion and I/O Support
The tracker includes digital input and output, a single analog input, and a 1-wire interface. Driver identification is supported through 1-wire iButton or BLE accessories. Internal antennas simplify installation and reduce wiring complexity.
