GV620MG Description
Core Purpose
The GV620MG is a rechargeable, rugged tracking device designed for heavy-duty vehicles such as trailers, tankers, reefers, and flatbed trucks. It is built to operate reliably in harsh transportation environments, including fuel and chemical logistics. The device continues tracking even when disconnected from external power.
Connectivity and Communication
The device supports LTE Cat M1 and NB2 networks with EGPRS fallback for wide coverage. This enables reliable data transmission across different regions and network conditions. The tracker is suitable for long-term fleet deployments where stable connectivity is required.
Positioning and Tracking
A u-blox all-in-one GNSS receiver provides accurate location tracking. Position data supports fleet visibility, route history, and asset monitoring. Geo-fence functions allow alerts when vehicles enter or leave defined areas.
Monitoring and Detection Capabilities
The GV620MG supports fuel level monitoring and temperature sensor integration through wired and wireless accessories. Low power alarms, power-on reports, and scheduled reporting support operational awareness. The device can store and transmit reports based on defined intervals.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The device operates on a wide 8–32V DC input range and includes dual high-capacity batteries for up to 120 days of standby time. It can operate for up to four months without external power. The IP67-rated enclosure protects against water, dust, and harsh environmental conditions.
Expansion and I/O Support
Multiple I/O interfaces allow connection to external sensors and accessories. These include digital inputs and outputs, analog input, 1-wire interface, and RS232. BLE 5.0 enables wireless accessory connectivity such as fuel and temperature sensors.
