UR41L Description

Overview

The UR41L is the cost-optimised member of the Milesight UR41 mini router family. It delivers LTE Cat 1 cellular backhaul in the same compact metal enclosure, tailored for embedded IoT where GNSS is not required and power budgets are tight.

Efficient LTE Cat 1

LTE Cat 1 keeps recurring data costs lower while maintaining reliable 4G connectivity for metering, charging infrastructure and remote monitoring. One RJ45 LAN port and a Nano SIM slot fit small controller cabinets and kiosks.

Ultra-Low Power

Advanced power management supports battery and solar sites: standby can reach 6.3 mA at 12 V, idle about 70 mA, and typical data-link draw near 157 mA. Scheduled and event-driven wake-up reduces energy use between reporting cycles.

Smart Meter Integration

DLMS client support connects smart meters directly to head-end systems for AMI, substation automation and grid monitoring without extra protocol gateways.

Field Interfaces

Software-switchable RS232/RS485 with Modbus gateway modes, plus galvanically isolated DI and DO, integrate PLCs, sensors and actuators in building and light industrial automation.

Security & Management

Hardware watchdog, enterprise firewall, AAA and multiple VPN types protect remote access. Configure and update via web, CLI, SMS, SNMP, TR069, DeviceHub or MilesightVPN.
