MS-S0208-EL Description
Overview
The MS-S0208-EL is an NDAA-compliant unmanaged PoE switch from the Milesight PoE Switch Series. It delivers power and data over a single Ethernet cable to IP cameras and other PoE devices, simplifying deployment where power outlets are scarce.
Flexible PoE Ports
The switch offers 8 10/100 Mbps PoE + 2 gigabit uplink with IEEE 802.3af/at support and up to 120 W total / 30 W per port. Auto-sensing ports recognise powered devices and supply the correct PoE class without manual setup.
Performance & Uplinks
Non-blocking switching and full link-speed forwarding keep surveillance traffic flowing smoothly. Self-adapting ports support IEEE 802.3x full-duplex and backpressure half-duplex operation.
Extend Mode & Surge Protection
Extend mode supports PoE runs up to 250 m on selected ports when the functional switch is enabled. PoE ports include 4 kV surge protection (8/20 μs) to help the switch survive lightning and electrical surges in demanding environments.
