UR41 Description

Overview

The UR41 is a compact LTE Cat 4 industrial cellular router built for low-cost, high-efficiency IoT connectivity in space-constrained and power-limited deployments. Its palm-sized metal enclosure delivers secure 4G backhaul with rich serial and I/O for field devices.

Compact 4G Connectivity

Global LTE Cat 4 with WCDMA and GSM fallback keeps remote equipment online where wired links are impractical. A single RJ45 LAN port, Nano SIM slot and internal cellular antenna suit embedded cabinets, kiosks and outdoor enclosures.

Ultra-Low Power

Advanced power management targets battery and solar applications: standby consumption can drop to 6.3 mA at 12 V, idle mode around 78 mA, and typical data-link draw about 226 mA. Wake-up is supported from timers, DI, cellular, Ethernet or serial events.

GNSS Positioning

Integrated GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS enable real-time asset tracking and network time synchronisation when used with a compatible GNSS antenna.

Smart Meter & Field Integration

DLMS client support connects modern power meters to management systems for substation automation, smart metering and grid monitoring. Software-switchable RS232/RS485, dry-contact DI and wet-contact DO integrate PLCs, sensors and controllers.

Security & Management

Hardware watchdog, SPI firewall, AAA (RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP) and VPN options (OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, L2TP, PPTP, DMVPN, WireGuard, ZeroTier) protect field connectivity. Configure via web, CLI, SMS, SNMP, TR069, DeviceHub or MilesightVPN.
