    Description

    VS330 Description

    Overview

    The VS330 is a LoRaWAN occupancy sensor built for toilet cubicles and small partitioned spaces. It reports whether a cubicle is free or in use, so facilities teams can replace guesswork with data.

    Dual Technology

    It pairs PIR motion detection with ToF distance measurement. PIR senses a person entering, and ToF reconfirms presence, which removes the false readings that single-sensor units suffer from.

    Accuracy

    A smart trigger logic and self-calibration algorithm push accuracy beyond 99.5%. Detection stays fully anonymous, with no personal data captured, so deployments remain GDPR compliant.

    Real-Time

    When someone enters or leaves, PIR triggers first and ToF then samples at 5-second intervals. Occupancy status updates promptly, which matters in high-traffic, low-capacity restrooms.

    Power

    Efficient trigger logic keeps power use low, giving at least 4 years of battery life from three replaceable ER18505 cells. NFC configuration means no wiring and no exposed ports.

    Design

    A compact enclosure carries a rotatable probe adjustable from 0° to 75° to minimise blind spots. Conformal coating on the PCBA protects against the moisture common in restrooms.
