Overview
The VS350 is a LoRaWAN passage people counter that tracks foot traffic at doorways and corridors. It is the cost-effective member of the VS people-counting range, made for dependable two-way counts.
Bi-Directional Counting
Two PIR sensors work in tandem to read infrared changes as people move through. By comparing signal waveforms, the counter separates entries from exits for clear two-way data.
Coverage
Mounted on a ceiling at 3 m it covers a passage width of about 3.1 m. A wall-mount option suits narrower passages under 2.3 m, so a single unit fits most doorways.
Accuracy
The sensor delivers up to 80% accuracy at a low cost, which is well suited to trend tracking and footfall insight. Detection stays fully anonymous and GDPR compliant.
Power
Low-power LoRaWAN gives long battery life of up to 9.7 years even at a 10-minute reporting rate, from two replaceable ER14505 cells. NFC configuration keeps deployment simple.
Integration
The Milesight D2D protocol lets the counter control other Milesight devices such as lighting without a gateway. Local storage holds 1,000 entries with data retransmission for reliability.
