VS360 Description
Overview
The VS360 is a LoRaWAN IR breakbeam people counter for entrances where ceiling mounting is not possible. It works as a pair, forming an invisible infrared ribbon across the opening to count foot traffic.
Bi-Directional Counting
A master and a node device face each other across the passage. As someone breaks the beam, the counter reads the order of interruption to separate inbound from outbound movement.
Accuracy
The sensor delivers up to 80% accuracy at a low cost, which suits footfall trends and entrance counts. Accuracy can drop when people walk side by side through a wide opening.
Adaptability
It keeps counting reliably in complete darkness and through slight temperature changes, day or night. For best results, keep it clear of direct sunlight and reflective surfaces.
Power
Low-power LoRaWAN gives up to 3 years of battery life from two ER14505 cells per device. NFC configuration and wall mounting with 3M tape make setup quick and wire-free.
Integration
The Milesight D2D protocol links the counter to other Milesight devices within a second, without a gateway. Local storage holds 1,000 records with retransmission to avoid data loss.
