WS302 Description
Overview
The WS302 is a LoRaWAN sound level sensor with an integrated microphone. It measures a wide range of noise levels and reports several noise values over LoRaWAN, helping teams monitor and manage acoustic comfort.
Accurate Measurement
The WS302 covers 30 to 120 dBA and 35 to 120 dBC with ± 3 dB accuracy and 0.1 dB resolution across a 30 Hz to 8 kHz range. It reports SPL actual, equivalent continuous (Leq) and maximum (Lmax) values.
Flexible Weighting
Software-switchable A and C frequency weighting plus fast time weighting let the sensor suit different scenarios, from general comfort monitoring to peak-noise detection.
Alarms
A built-in LED indicator flags threshold alarms locally, while LoRaWAN delivers data to the platform for trends, reporting and automated triggers.
Power
Two ER14505 batteries give up to 5 years of operation with fast weighting disabled, so the sensor runs for years without wiring or frequent maintenance.
Setup
One-touch NFC configuration through the Milesight ToolBox app makes setup quick. Mount it on flat surfaces with screws or 3M tape.
