WS501 Description
Overview
The WS501 is a LoRaWAN 1-gang smart wall switch for local and remote control of lights and electrical appliances. It uses standard wall-switch sizes, so it can replace a traditional switch directly while adding wireless control and energy insight.
Local & Remote Control
A high-reliability relay switches loads locally at the button or remotely over LoRaWAN. Class C operation keeps the switch always listening, so remote commands act instantly.
Energy Metering
Built-in metering reports voltage, current, power factor, active power and energy consumption, with overcurrent protection to guard connected loads.
D2D & Multicast
Milesight D2D lets the WS501 respond directly to other Milesight devices without a gateway, while multicast can switch many units at once for scenes and large sites.
Easy Retrofit
Available in EU 86-type and US 118/120-type sizes, the WS501 drops into existing pattress boxes. An ice-blue indicator makes it easy to find in the dark.
Setup
One-touch NFC configuration through the Milesight ToolBox app makes setup quick, with card emulation mode for fast deployment.
