GL320MG Description
Core Purpose
The GL320MG is a compact battery-powered tracker designed for reliable location monitoring. It provides real-time visibility of moving assets, vehicles, or equipment without requiring complex installation. The device combines cellular connectivity with GNSS positioning to deliver accurate tracking in a wide range of environments.
Its small size and long battery life make it suitable for temporary deployments, hidden installations, and portable tracking needs.
Connectivity
The tracker supports LTE Cat M1 and NB2 networks, allowing it to operate efficiently on modern IoT cellular infrastructure. A 2G fallback option helps maintain connectivity in regions where newer networks may not yet be fully available.
This flexible connectivity ensures stable communication for transmitting location updates and device status across wide geographic areas.
Location Tracking
The device uses a GNSS receiver with positioning accuracy below 2.5 meters. This allows operators to identify precise asset locations and movement patterns.
Location reports can be triggered at scheduled intervals, based on movement, or through specific events. These reporting options help balance tracking detail with battery efficiency.
Safety and Emergency Alerts
An integrated SOS button with vibration feedback allows the user to send an immediate emergency alert. This is useful for lone workers, security personnel, or field staff who may need to quickly signal for assistance.
Additional alerts can be triggered by motion detection, ignition signals, or predefined geo-fence boundaries.
Monitoring and Event Detection
The GL320MG includes a 3-axis accelerometer that detects movement and vibration. This enables automatic motion alerts and helps the device determine when an asset starts or stops moving.
Geo-fence monitoring allows the device to trigger alerts when an asset enters or leaves defined areas. Up to 20 geo-fence zones can be configured.
Power and Battery Performance
The tracker is powered by a 2600 mAh Li-Polymer battery designed for long operational periods between charges. In standby mode without reporting, the device can operate for up to 480 hours.
Adjustable reporting intervals allow users to balance battery life with tracking frequency. This flexibility makes the device suitable for both short-term investigations and longer asset monitoring tasks.
Device Interfaces
The device includes a USB Type-C interface for configuration, firmware updates, and external power. It also provides two digital inputs, including a positive trigger for ignition detection.
These inputs allow the tracker to monitor equipment status or trigger alerts based on connected signals.
