GV30CEU Description
Core Purpose
The GV30CEU is a compact LTE Cat 1 tracker designed for reliable reporting of vehicle movement and status. Its small size and internal antennas allow discreet placement, making it suitable for scenarios where visibility must remain minimal. Wide voltage support and GNSS positioning ensure it functions across many vehicle types and power systems.
Connectivity and Communication
The device uses LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback to maintain communication in regions with mixed network coverage. It sends reports through TCP, UDP, or SMS, allowing operators to select the communication method that fits their systems. Scheduled reporting provides regular updates based on time, distance, or mileage.
Positioning and Tracking
Its internal GNSS receiver supports GPS, Beidou, Galileo, and GLONASS for accurate positioning across diverse environments. Fast start times help the unit regain its location quickly after power cycles, and its sub-2-meter accuracy enhances tracking reliability. These functions support timely reporting during route monitoring and event detection.
Monitoring and Detection Capabilities
Motion detection, geo-fence alerts, and speed alarms help operators identify unexpected movement or unsafe operation. Driving behavior monitoring detects harsh acceleration or braking, while crash detection gathers data for later review. Jamming detection and tow alarms strengthen asset protection, especially when vehicles are parked or unattended.
Power and Environmental Design
A 9–90 V input range allows installation across passenger, commercial, and heavy-duty vehicles. The IP54 enclosure and –30°C to +70°C operating range support outdoor or semi-exposed use. A built-in backup battery ensures continued reporting through brief power losses.
I/O and Expansion Options
The GV30CEU includes one ignition input, a configurable analog or negative input, and a latched digital output for remote actions. BLE 5.4 allows it to function as a gateway for accessories such as beacons or sensors. These interfaces provide flexibility for additional monitoring and control tasks when required.
