    Description

    GV30CEU Description

    Core Purpose

The GV30CEU is a compact LTE Cat 1 tracker designed for reliable reporting of vehicle movement and status. Its small size and internal antennas allow discreet placement, making it suitable for scenarios where visibility must remain minimal. Wide voltage support and GNSS positioning ensure it functions across many vehicle types and power systems.

    Connectivity and Communication

The device uses LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback to maintain communication in regions with mixed network coverage. It sends reports through TCP, UDP, or SMS, allowing operators to select the communication method that fits their systems. Scheduled reporting provides regular updates based on time, distance, or mileage.

    Positioning and Tracking

Its internal GNSS receiver supports GPS, Beidou, Galileo, and GLONASS for accurate positioning across diverse environments. Fast start times help the unit regain its location quickly after power cycles, and its sub-2-meter accuracy enhances tracking reliability. These functions support timely reporting during route monitoring and event detection.

    Monitoring and Detection Capabilities

Motion detection, geo-fence alerts, and speed alarms help operators identify unexpected movement or unsafe operation. Driving behavior monitoring detects harsh acceleration or braking, while crash detection gathers data for later review. Jamming detection and tow alarms strengthen asset protection, especially when vehicles are parked or unattended.

    Power and Environmental Design

A 9–90 V input range allows installation across passenger, commercial, and heavy-duty vehicles. The IP54 enclosure and –30°C to +70°C operating range support outdoor or semi-exposed use. A built-in backup battery ensures continued reporting through brief power losses.

    I/O and Expansion Options

The GV30CEU includes one ignition input, a configurable analog or negative input, and a latched digital output for remote actions. BLE 5.4 allows it to function as a gateway for accessories such as beacons or sensors. These interfaces provide flexibility for additional monitoring and control tasks when required.

    Industry Applications

    GV30CEU Industrial Applications

    Fleet Management

Fleet operators can track vehicle movements, driver behavior, and route adherence using GNSS reporting, scheduled updates, and harsh-driving detection. Tow alarms, motion alerts, and jamming detection support security and operational awareness. These capabilities help maintain real-time visibility across diverse fleets.

    Automobile Finance and Leasing

Finance and leasing providers benefit from the device’s discreet size and covert installation possibilities. Geo-fences, tow alarms, and power-on notifications help detect unauthorized usage or relocation attempts. These alerts protect high-value assets throughout the loan or lease term.

    Stolen Vehicle Recovery

The GV30CEU provides continuous GNSS tracking and movement alerts, enabling rapid response when a vehicle is taken. Jamming detection identifies attempts to interfere with the tracker, while crash and ignition data support event reconstruction. These features aid in quick and effective recovery efforts.

    Logistics and Delivery Operations

Logistics teams can monitor driver behavior, stop duration, and route patterns through motion detection and scheduled reporting. BLE 5.4 allows the use of sensors such as temperature or door beacons for cargo monitoring. Speed and harsh-driving alerts help improve safety and reduce operating costs.

    Service and Utility Fleets

Service organizations can use ignition detection, geo-fences, and motion alerts to ensure vehicles remain within assigned zones. Backup battery and 2G fallback maintain oversight even during power or network interruptions. Tow and jamming alarms provide added protection for assets at remote work sites.
