GV56G Description
Connectivity
The GV56G runs on 2G networks and sends data via TCP, UDP, or SMS. You can set it to report on a time schedule, by distance, or by mileage – whichever fits your operation.
Tracking
It pulls position from GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS together. That combination gives it reliable lock-on in most conditions, with accuracy under 2 metres. Hot start takes about 1 second. Cold start averages around 32 seconds.
Monitoring
The GV56G monitors driving patterns in real time. It flags harsh braking, sharp acceleration, and other aggressive behaviours as they happen. When a crash occurs, it captures the data you need for accident reconstruction and analysis.
Alerts
You can configure up to 20 geo-fence zones. The device sends an alarm whenever a vehicle enters or exits one. It also detects tow attempts while the ignition is off, flags active jamming signals, and reports unusual speed.
Power
The device accepts 9V to 90V DC, so it fits most light vehicles without any additional hardware. A built-in 180mAh backup battery keeps it running if the main supply is cut.
Expansion
The GV56G acts as a BLE 5.4 gateway, connecting accessories like fuel level sensors, temperature monitors, beacons, and door sensors. A 1-Wire interface also supports driver ID identification.
