SC350MG Description
Core Purpose
The SC350MG is a compact GNSS tracker built for electric bikes and similar light electric vehicles. It enables continuous visibility, basic vehicle status monitoring, and remote management in a small, hidden form factor. The device is designed to support both private and shared mobility use cases.
Connectivity and Communication
The tracker uses LTE Cat M1/NB2 with 2G fallback to maintain reliable communication across different regions. This allows vehicles to stay connected even in areas with limited network coverage. Data such as location and events can be sent on a schedule or triggered by activity.
Positioning and Tracking
GNSS positioning allows the SC350MG to track vehicle location with consistent accuracy. Fast start times help the device report position quickly after power-up or movement. This supports theft recovery, usage tracking, and fleet visibility.
Monitoring and Detection Capabilities
Built-in motion and vibration detection enable the device to identify movement, unauthorized handling, or potential theft. Geo-fence functions allow alerts when a vehicle enters or leaves defined areas. Low power alerts help prevent unexpected battery drain.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The device supports a wide 8–60V input range, making it compatible with different electric vehicle power systems. An internal backup battery keeps it operating if external power is interrupted. The IPX5-rated housing supports outdoor use in wet environments.
Expansion and I/O Support
The SC350MG can interface with E-bike controllers and battery systems through CAN or UART, allowing access to vehicle data when supported. BLE 5.2 enables functions such as proximity-based unlocking. Digital inputs and outputs support simple control and status detection.
