    WKF300 Description

    Connectivity and Communication

    This device works on 2.4 GHz and supports BLE 4.2 for short-range wireless communication. It can broadcast data continuously from every 1000 ms to 5000 ms for driver status monitoring, or send a one-time broadcast for an emergency alert.

    Monitoring

    The WKF300 helps monitor driver presence by sending regular status data. It also includes a low power alarm, with the battery condition indicated in the data sent to the receiver, so the system can flag when replacement is needed.

    Power

    The device uses a CR2032 button battery, which keeps installation simple and supports long operating life. The datasheet states up to 3 years of battery life under light daily use with continuous broadcast turned off, or about 1 year when broadcasting every second.
