WTH301 Description
Core Purpose
The WTH301 is a BLE temperature and humidity sensor built for logistics and transportation use. Its main role is to measure environmental conditions and pass that data to compatible BLE trackers, making it suitable for cargo that needs condition visibility during movement.
Connectivity and Communication
The device uses BLE 5.1 for short-range wireless communication and can transmit up to 150 meters in open areas. In practice, this allows it to work as a simple sensor node alongside Queclink BLE trackers without needing complex installation or wired connections.
Monitoring
The WTH301 monitors both temperature and humidity, which makes it useful for shipments that are sensitive to changing storage conditions. It samples data every 10 seconds, so condition changes can be captured regularly during transport rather than only at wide intervals.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The sensor is designed for demanding transport environments. It has an IP66-rated housing for water and dust protection, works in temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, and uses a 1200 mAh lithium iron battery rated for more than 3 years under the stated reporting conditions.
Installation
The unit is small at 75 × 38 × 19 mm and weighs 48 g, so it is easy to place in space-limited areas. Installation uses a 3M sticker, which supports fast and low-cost deployment in trailers, containers, and other logistics assets.
