Core Purpose

The WT101 is built to make radiator heating control simple, automatic, and cost-efficient. It helps maintain comfortable room temperatures by adjusting the radiator valve based on the selected schedule or the current room condition. With support for up to 16 heating plans in one preset date period, it is well suited for spaces that need different heating patterns throughout the day or season.

Connectivity and Communication

LoRaWAN gives the thermostat reliable long-range communication with building gateways, making it practical for centralised heating control across multiple rooms or floors. This allows users to change settings remotely, apply updates, and connect the thermostat with broader smart building workflows. NFC adds quick local setup, making device onboarding faster during installation.

Monitoring and Detection Capabilities

The built-in temperature sensor continuously checks the room environment and helps the thermostat react quickly to temperature changes. Features like open-window detection help reduce wasted heating by recognizing sudden drops in temperature, while freeze protection helps protect rooms and pipes during very cold conditions. Tamper alerts and child lock features also make it a good fit for shared or public spaces where settings should stay protected.

Power and Environmental Suitability

The device runs on two replaceable AA Li-FeS2 batteries and is designed for long service life, with battery performance reaching up to around 8 years depending on reporting settings. Its compact body and simple lock-style installation make it easy to mount directly onto standard radiator valves. With an operating range of -20 °C to +60 °C, it can continue working reliably in a wide variety of indoor heating environments.

Expansion and I/O Support

The WT101 is designed for flexible installation across many radiator types. Its standard M30 × 1.5 mm fitting already matches many common valves, while optional adapters extend compatibility to Danfoss, Giacomini, and M28 valve types. This makes it easier to use the same thermostat model across mixed building infrastructures.
