Overview
The GES100CG is a single-use bolt seal built to secure and track assets like shipping containers. Once the bolt is inserted, it powers on and is designed to stay in place for the full journey, helping reduce the risk of unnoticed interference.
It reports over cellular networks so teams can check status without being nearby. LTE Cat 1 bis with GSM support helps it stay connected across common logistics coverage areas. It can send updates on a schedule and store messages when it can’t deliver them right away.
The device shares location using GNSS for practical tracking during transit and at stops. It also supports LBS positioning to provide a location reference when satellite signals are limited. In open conditions, the datasheet lists autonomous accuracy under 2 metres.
Anti-tamper detection is a key function: if the seal is interfered with, it can trigger an alarm and increase reporting. The housing is IP67 waterproof and uses an ISO 17712-compliant bolt format for tough outdoor handling. Battery life is designed for long trips, with up to 90 days at two reports per day.

Applications
Fits container moves where you need both seal security and basic location visibility. Anti-tamper alerts help teams act quickly when the seal is disturbed instead of waiting for arrival checks.
Helps monitor trailers parked at yards or customer sites with scheduled updates. If interference occurs, the tamper alarm and reporting change support faster response.
Supports outdoor operations where assets must be located and controlled across large areas. GNSS and LBS help with basic locating, and the IP67 enclosure is suited for harsh handling environments.
Supports sealed cargo processes where evidence of tampering matters for control and compliance. Battery level reporting and buffered messages help maintain visibility during long dwell times and intermittent coverage.

Questions
Yes, the GES100CG can be used as strong evidence that a container was not opened because it continuously monitors seal integrity and sends tamper alerts with time and GNSS location if the bolt is broken or disturbed. Its logged reports and alarms create a digital chain-of-custody record throughout transit. However, it supports operational and compliance proof rather than serving as absolute legal proof on its own.
Yes. Frequent alerts increase power use because the device must wake up, get a GNSS position, and send data each time. On the GES100CG, standard operation allows up to 90 days of battery life at two reports per day using its 1600 mAh battery. More frequent alerts or tamper events raise reporting activity and will shorten this operating time compared to normal use.
Integration is usually straightforward. GPS seals like the GES100CG transmit data using standard communication methods such as TCP, UDP, and SMS, which are commonly supported by telematics and logistics platforms. In many cases, integration involves configuring the device to send data to an existing server or endpoint. The main effort typically lies in adapting the received data to internal workflows, alerts, and reporting needs, rather than establishing the connection itself.
