GV650MG overview
Built for equipment and cold chain
The GV650MG is an LTE Cat M1, NB2 and EGPRS tracker for heavy-duty equipment and cold chain. The rugged, waterproof case is rated IP67 and IP69K, and the unit can run for up to four months without external power so assets stay visible when the supply is cut.
Multiple interfaces support driver identification, temperature monitoring and engine control. OPEN CAN options let the installation read CAN data from an OPEN CAN MCU. An optional external GNSS antenna is for walls that weaken the internal antenna.
Interfaces
Ignition is a positive trigger input. Two digital lines are configurable as input or output, and there is one analogue input. 1-wire supports up to eight channels for a temperature sensor or iButton. Serial ports are RS232 and RS485, with a 3.3 V output for an external device and two CAN pairs.
BLE 5.2 is a gateway for a beacon, temperature sensor or door sensor. CELL, GNSS and PWR/CAN LEDs show status.
